The 36T and 36Y add a longer wheelbase and heavier chassis for buyers who want more capacity, while the 32RW, 33HB, and 34MB keep the footprint tighter.

The Fortis is built on the Ford® F-53 chassis with the Ford® 7.3L Triton® V8, rated at 335 horsepower and 468 lb-ft of torque, paired with a Ford® 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. The 32RW, 33HB, and 34MB ride on the lighter F-53 with a 26,000-pound GCWR. The 36T and 36Y step up to the heavier F-53 with a 30,000-pound GCWR and a longer 252-inch wheelbase. Every floor plan carries an 8,000-pound trailer hitch, an 80-gallon fuel tank, a 210-amp alternator, 22.5-inch Alcoa® aluminum wheels, and standard 50-amp service.

On the outside, the 2026 Fortis ships with standard full-body paint on every floor plan in five exterior packages: Galaxy (new for MY26), Gemini, Gravity, Infinity, and Orbit. Every Fortis includes a 50-inch exterior LED TV, an exterior entertainment center, and a 100-watt solar panel that trickle-charges the four 6-volt house batteries. Patio awning width varies by floor plan, with a 20-foot awning on the 34MB, 14-foot on the 32RW and 33HB, and 12-foot on the 36T and 36Y.

The dashboard runs a capacitive touchscreen stereo with Apple CarPlay™, Android Auto™, Bluetooth, SiriusXM readiness, an "always-on" backup camera, two USB inputs, two-zone speaker control, and a push-to-talk button for the driver's phone assistant. Rooftop connectivity comes standard from a Winegard® 360+ antenna with 4G Gateway, 5G readiness, and HD reception. A King Stationary Satellite Universal System is available as a factory option. Adaptive cruise control and lane departure warning are available through the optional Advanced Vehicle Safety (AVS) package, which uses Ford's Driver Assist Technology Package, and Collision Mitigation is available as a separate factory option.

The cabin features residential sofas built by Apex Custom Furniture, the new Villa driver and passenger seats, hand-laid luxury vinyl tile flooring on a full composite tile base, black MCD blackout shades throughout for privacy and temperature control, and a MultiPlex house control system that lets owners run lighting, slides, awning, and other systems from a smartphone or tablet. Three décor packages are available: Domino, Hurricane (new for MY26), and Lazy River. Cabinet finishes include Heritage (new), Hazelnut, Sedona (new), and Mariner accent wood, with Mercury available on the 36T. Manual theater seating is available in place of the standard jackknife sofa on the 32RW, 33HB, 34MB, and 36T. The 36Y comes standard with power theater seating, a 65-inch LED TV with Klipsch® soundbar, and a fireplace at the rear.

The galley includes a residential refrigerator, a microwave, and a pantry (with swing and fixed shelves on the 34MB). The 36T and 36Y add an exterior kitchenette on the camp side.
